Brisbane Airport (BNE) - Guide to Brisbane (BNE) Airport

Brisbane International Airport is located ten miles to the northwest of the city centre. There are separate terminals for domestic and international travel. The Air Train service operates four trains an hour, connecting the airport with central Brisbane. This service also travels to the Gold Coast, with two trains an hour.

Operated by Citytrain, the rail system in Brisbane is efficient and fast. All trains stop at the three main stations in central Brisbane: Brunswick Street, Central and Roma Street.

Bus routes in Brisbane are fairly comprehensive, but can be difficult for tourists to comprehend. Bus drivers do not automatically pull in at bus stops; instead they must be flagged down. There is a free bus service that takes visitors around the downtown loop.

Travel on the CityCat ferry along the Brisbane River is a popular way for tourists to get around. The ferry stops at 14 different points along the river.
