There are many theatres and performance arts venues in Brisbane. International theatrical productions can be found at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre on the south bank.

The main entertainment areas are located in the city centre and in Fortitude Valley. Live music is particularly popular in this city and many local bands are well supported here.
